A newly club. Under the committee club of Clarkston High School 4-H.
The 400 Hours is a community service program or club, that runs by youths, students mostly with a mission of promoting volunteering opportunities for high school students to obtain the 400 community service hours by the end of their senior years. As a freshman year the aim is to acquire 100 service hours, and within four years of high school, undoubtedly, the students will reach the 400 service hours by the time they graduate.
One of our main goals is volunteering, for that, we are friendships and leadership center which sometimes we meet out on the weekend or holiday going for exploring the parks or cities and doing the fun that we never get a chance to experience as youths.
We meet at Clarkston High School in room 4 or sometimes at the Media Center, and we plan, then we take action. At our meeting, we mainly plan to come up with volunteering or event, and we will inform member how we can and can't. We learn from one another, sharing the idea and make it come to life. We inspiring, it's about taking action, getting involve and being active. It's not about motivational or inspirational that spoke to you at all time but never show or prove what motivational or inspirational mean in real life.

I personally believe that volunteering is part of reaching out to the people who need help with their community. Volunteering is also a freely suggest to do something for someone or organizations that could bring benefits
for both sides. There is various benefits or outcome from volunteering. People have a chance to step out of their comfort zone and experience new things, which is totally amazing. For example, I have gotten to help people who need help with cleaning the church or shelving the books at a local library. It makes me happy to see people who satisfied with my work and my help. I feel amazing about myself when people appreciate my volunteerism. You motivate yourself from helping others, that is one of the benefits you can achieve from volunteering. Also, there is a chance to explore a new environment and meet new faces. And we can learn something from these new people at least such as how they keep up with their work and their leadership skills. As the human, we all are unique. We have different mindsets, thoughts, and perspectives. That is extremely interesting and we learn from each other. Beside we earn the hours for our school community service, which is extremely beneficial for the students. Volunteering gives us an open-minded to see the world with a new whole perspective. It motivates us to change the world to be a better place as we always dream of, with a clean environment and green trees everywhere that could prevent pollution. Volunteering brings us happiness in our community, in our school and in our family.

Volunteering for community service hours is important. I want to do something after school then just going home. I don’t like doing homework much so I rather stay away from that. This would help me to Interact with others since I’m not social enough. This could help me understand how life would be in the real world.

Being a refugee is never enough dream to experience throughout volunteering, I know when I volunteer the are many good people for me to gain such experience throughout my work hour. Things that I enjoy the most and when you do not have the fun of what you're doing, and what the point of doing it? To me, I always challenge myself a question. I want to experience the help of the people, and when I helped someone, I learn the skills that I may use in my future. It's not always playing a game, watching a moving, eat and sleep. I want to be active and involve in the community.
